Below is a list of the Larimore students and the research they conducted during their internships.

Moshe Piltz, 2022

Moshe Piltz was a junior majoring in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign while serving as an intern. He is now a benthic macroinvertebrate taxonomist with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.

Piltz’s study was the Summer 2022 Assessment of Benthic Macroinvertebrate and Fish Communities in Jordan Creek (Vermilion County, Illinois).

Sabine Miller, 2020

Sabine Miller developed and implemented a protocol to assess habitat characteristics, macroinvertebrates, and fish populations in Jordan Creek using historical sampling data. She is now a first-year master’s student in the Natural Resources and Environmental Science degree program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Miller’s report is Fish Community and Habitat Assessment of Jordan Creek.
